Baby Update!

The other day I was very productive and made six little burp cloths! They are far from perfect, but all in all, I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out. The back is a very soft pink fabric with indented stars, and the fronts are 3 different flannel fabrics. (I heard from Tim's mother that my husband had quite a spit up/projectile vomiting problem so I wanted a very absorbent fabric =)

I thouroghly enjoyed making something for my little daughter and I find myself falling more in love with her everyday.

Her movements are really incredible. I didn't know how I would feel when she began moving. Would I feel like someone had invaded my body, my space? (I am VERY big on personal space, the people in the Starbucks line (decaf of course) need to take at least three steps back. Standing closer to me does NOT make the line mover faster!) But I feel wonderful! I love this little person in my body, her space is my space. I love each one of her little kicks. Tim has only felt her the one time and every time he puts his hand on my belly she gets very calm...he clearly has this whole father thing down!

Just look at the clothes Tim picked out the other day! We went into The Children's Place because they were having a great sale and Tim started to get really into it. At one point we called to each other from across the store and we were each holding up the same onesie! Most of what we bought will be for next spring and summer as it is all shorts and skirts but it's never to early if there is a good sale!!

Happy Father's day to all those great dads!
